There are also 3 screenshots to accompany the text, you can choose your own styled arrows if you want them, and i refer to existing tutorials at the end re changing how many times Drive appears. so it would insert toward the end as a final steps. I have written the text to follow in a style that you could copy into your tutorial if you find it useful. They add the drive link 3 times in explorer´s navigation panel, which seems excessive. I have opened the regedit local user network key but see it isn´t there as a mapped drive, so hope you can tell me how to rename it? I would be very happy if it didn´t have a drive letter at all and just appeared in explorer as a folder, as does onedrive, but if it must have a drive letter i would like to change it to be consistent with my lan scheme, else i´ll have to change media server library settings and many shortcuts. The registry method did work, so perhaps it tells you something that this one did if the other one didn´t? But i would like to change something if possible. Hi, thanks for this tutorial Brink, and also thanks for several others i have found very useful in trying to improve the ease of use and consistency in my home lan.įYI the bat didn´t work for me, though drive was installed to default and i ran twice logged in and not, it would not recognise that the back up and sync app was installed.
